Terms of Service

Siftly for Android · Effective September 13, 2026

In short: Siftly suggests media you may want to review, but you decide what to keep, compress, or delete. Check your selection and keep your own backups before removing important files.

1. Acceptance

These Terms govern your use of Siftly, an Android app published by Acom Consumer Finance. By installing or using Siftly, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. License

We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Siftly on devices you control, subject to these Terms and applicable law. You may not sell, sublicense, or redistribute the app except where law permits.

3. Acceptable use

Use Siftly only with media you are authorized to access and manage. Do not misuse the app, interfere with its operation, or use it in a way that violates another person's rights or applicable law. You are responsible for the choices you make while reviewing your library.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of your photos and videos. Siftly processes accessible media on your device to provide its features and does not claim ownership of it. You are responsible for keeping any backups you need.

5. Media operations and your responsibility

Duplicate, similarity, blur, and storage suggestions are estimates and can be wrong. Review every selection before deleting. Siftly does not delete items on its own; deletion begins only when you choose items and tap the delete action. On supported Android versions, Android also asks you to confirm. Compression creates a new gallery copy and leaves the original untouched, but results can differ by device and file. We recommend backing up important media before making changes.

6. Third-party services

Siftly relies on Android's media and optional backup features and is distributed through Google Play. Opening its policy link uses your browser. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. See our Privacy Policy for the data practices we have verified.

7. Purchases and subscriptions

The current version of Siftly has no in-app purchases or subscriptions. These Terms do not create a paid plan or recurring charge.

8. Intellectual property

Siftly's app code, branding, and other materials provided by Acom Consumer Finance or its licensors are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. These Terms do not transfer ownership of those materials to you.

9. Disclaimers

Siftly is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not promise that every duplicate or blurry image will be detected, that every storage estimate will be exact, or that the app will run without interruption on every device. Nothing here limits any warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Acom Consumer Finance is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of Siftly, including loss caused by a media selection you confirm. This clause does not exclude liability or remedies that law does not allow us to exclude.

11. Termination

You may stop using Siftly and uninstall it at any time. We may discontinue or update the app. Clauses that by their nature should continue, such as intellectual-property and liability provisions, remain in effect to the extent lawful.

12. Changes

We may change these Terms as the app or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms where applicable law permits; otherwise, stop using the app.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law applicable to your use of Siftly, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your jurisdiction. Disputes may be brought before a court with jurisdiction under applicable law.
