Privacy Policy
- You can use GoalPulse without creating an account or signing in. Your favourites, language and settings are stored on your device.
- GoalPulse is free and ad-supported. We use Google AdMob and its mediation partners to show ads, which involves device and advertising identifiers.
- We use analytics and attribution tools (Google Firebase, Adjust, Meta, TikTok) to understand how the app is used and how installs are attributed.
- On iOS we ask for your permission before tracking, and in the EU/UK we show a consent prompt that lets you choose between personalized and non-personalized ads.
- We do not sell your personal information, and live scores and fixtures come from public sports data sources — not from you.

1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how EXO Studio ("EXO Studio", "we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the iOS mobile application GoalPulse — Live Scores (the "App"). EXO Studio is based in Hanoi, Vietnam, and is the publisher and data controller responsible for the App.
GoalPulse is an independent live-score tracker that lets you follow football fixtures, results, standings and team information. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by FIFA, any league, club or player; all sports data comes from public sources and is provided for informational purposes only. The App does not require you to create an account or log in. It is free and supported by advertising, which is why some of the partners described below are involved.
2. Information we collect
The categories below describe the information that may be involved when you use GoalPulse.
Information stored on your device
Your favourite teams and matches, your chosen display language, and your onboarding/settings state are stored locally on your device (in iOS UserDefaults). This information stays on your device and is not sent to us in a form that identifies you.
Identifiers and advertising data
Because the App shows ads and measures their performance, our advertising and attribution partners may process device and advertising identifiers, including the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA, only with your permission), the Identifier for Vendors (IDFV), and similar mobile identifiers. These are used to deliver and measure ads and to attribute app installs.
Usage and diagnostic data
We and our analytics partners may collect information about how you interact with the App — for example, screens viewed, features used, session length, ad interactions, approximate region/locale, device model, operating system version, app version, and crash or performance diagnostics. This helps us understand usage trends, fix bugs, and improve the App.
Approximate location
The App does not request precise GPS location. However, advertising and analytics partners may infer your approximate location (for example, country or region) from your IP address or device settings to deliver relevant content and ads and to comply with regional requirements.
Information we do not collect
GoalPulse does not require an account, so we do not collect your name, email address, password, or login credentials in order for you to use the App. The live scores, fixtures, standings and squad facts shown in the App are public sports data fetched from third-party sports data providers — they are not personal data about you.
3. How we use information
The table below summarizes the data we may handle, why we handle it, and the legal basis under the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable.
| Data | Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| App settings & favourites (on device) | To remember your teams, language and preferences and personalize your in-App experience | Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) |
| Advertising & device identifiers | To show ads, including personalized ads where you have consented, and to cap frequency and prevent fraud | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)); legitimate interests for non-personalized ads (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Usage & analytics events | To understand how the App is used, measure feature performance, and improve the product | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) or legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) depending on region |
| Attribution data | To measure marketing campaigns and understand how installs are attributed | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)); legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Crash & diagnostic data | To detect, troubleshoot and fix bugs and improve App stability | Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) in maintaining a reliable App |
4. Advertising & mediation
GoalPulse is free and supported by advertising. We use Google AdMob as our primary advertising platform, together with mediation that allows additional ad networks to compete to fill ad space. Depending on availability and your region, the following ad networks may serve or measure ads in the App:
- Google AdMob (Google LLC)
- Meta Audience Network (Meta Platforms, Inc.)
- AppLovin
- Mintegral
- Pangle (ByteDance)
These partners may process device and advertising identifiers, ad interaction data, and approximate location to select, deliver, cap, and measure ads, and to detect invalid activity. Where you have consented (or where permitted by law), ads may be personalized based on such data; otherwise you will receive non-personalized ads, which still rely on limited information such as coarse location and the current context. You can learn more about how Google uses data from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
5. Analytics & attribution
To understand how GoalPulse is used and to measure our marketing, we use the following tools:
- Google Firebase Analytics — aggregated usage and event analytics, and stability diagnostics.
- Google Firebase Remote Config — to configure features and content remotely; it does not collect personal data about you.
- Adjust — mobile install attribution and campaign measurement.
- Meta (Facebook) SDK — install/attribution measurement and Audience Network ad delivery.
- TikTok Business SDK — install attribution and campaign measurement.
These tools may process device identifiers, event data, and technical information as described above. They are configured to respect your tracking and consent choices (see the next section).
6. Your tracking & consent choices (ATT & GDPR)
Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT). On iOS, before any partner uses your IDFA to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies, the App presents Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, partners will not access your IDFA for cross-app tracking, and you will generally receive less personalized ads. You can change your choice at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
EU/EEA/UK consent. If you are in a region governed by the GDPR or similar laws, the App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent flow to ask for your consent before personalized ads and certain data processing take place. You can withdraw or change your consent through the privacy options available in the App and your device settings.
Declining tracking or consent does not prevent you from using GoalPulse; it primarily affects whether the ads you see are personalized.
7. Service providers & partners
We rely on a number of trusted third parties to operate, monetize and improve the App, including the advertising, analytics and attribution partners listed above, cloud infrastructure providers, and the platform that distributes the App (the Apple App Store). We also fetch live scores and fixtures from third-party sports data providers. These parties process information in accordance with their own privacy policies; you can review the most relevant ones here:
- Google (AdMob & Firebase): policies.google.com/privacy
- Meta: facebook.com/privacy/policy
- AppLovin: applovin.com/privacy
- Mintegral: mintegral.com/en/privacy
- Pangle: pangleglobal.com/privacy
- Adjust: adjust.com/terms/privacy-policy
- TikTok for Business: tiktok.com/legal/privacy-policy
8. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only in the limited circumstances below:
- With advertising, analytics and attribution partners, as described in sections 4–7, to deliver and measure ads and to understand usage. Some of this sharing for personalized advertising may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under certain U.S. state laws; see Your rights for how to opt out.
- With service providers who help us operate the App under appropriate safeguards.
- For legal reasons, where disclosure is required to comply with applicable law, a valid legal request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of users, the public, or EXO Studio.
- In a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will take reasonable steps to ensure your information remains protected.
9. Data retention
Settings and favourites stored on your device remain until you change them, clear them, or uninstall the App. Data processed by our advertising, analytics and attribution partners is retained according to their own retention schedules, which are described in their privacy policies. We retain aggregated analytics and limited diagnostic data only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. Uninstalling the App removes data stored locally on your device.
10. Data security
We take reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including encryption of data in transit and limiting access on a need-to-know basis. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to promptly address any vulnerabilities we become aware of.
11. Device permissions
| Permission | Why it may be requested |
|---|---|
| Tracking (App Tracking Transparency) | To ask whether our advertising partners may use your IDFA to personalize and measure ads across apps. You can decline and still use the App. |
| Network access | To fetch live scores, fixtures and standings, to load ads, and to download App content. |
| Notifications (optional) | To alert you about matches and updates, if you choose to enable them. |
Declining a permission may limit certain features, but you remain in control of your choices at all times.
12. Children's privacy
GoalPulse is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
13. Your rights (GDPR & CCPA)
Depending on where you live, you may have specific rights regarding your personal information.
If you are in the EU, EEA, or UK (GDPR)
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data; the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests; the right to data portability; and the right to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent (for example, through the in-App consent options). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
If you are in California (CCPA/CPRA) or a similar U.S. state
You have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights. Some of our advertising-related data sharing may qualify as "sale" or "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under these laws. You can opt out of this by declining the App Tracking Transparency prompt (or revoking it in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking) and by declining personalized-ads consent where offered. You may also contact us using the details below to exercise your rights.
14. International transfers
EXO Studio is based in Vietnam, and our partners and service providers operate in various countries. As a result, information may be processed in jurisdictions outside your own, which may have different data-protection laws. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we and our partners take steps to ensure it remains protected, including relying on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where required by applicable law.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, our partners, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide a more prominent notice within the App. Your continued use of GoalPulse after an update becomes effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
