Terms of Service
TL;DR: FutureLens creates stylised "future look" previews from a photo you choose, on your iPhone. Previews are a creative demo, not an AI prediction of how anyone will age. Only use photos of yourself or of people who agreed.
1. Acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and EXO Studio, Hanoi, Vietnam ("EXO Studio", "we", "us") for your use of the FutureLens app for iPhone. By downloading or using FutureLens you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. FutureLens is not intended for children under 13.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use FutureLens on Apple devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes, as permitted by Apple's Usage Rules. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where it conflicts with these Terms, these Terms govern to the extent permitted. Apple is not responsible for the app or its support.
3. Nature of the previews
The "+10 / +20 / +40 years" previews and story videos are created on your device with standard image filters. They are a stylised, entertainment-only demo look. They are not generated by artificial intelligence, do not predict how you or anyone else will actually age, and must not be used for medical, identification, legal or other decisions. Each preview carries a "DEMO PREVIEW · NOT AI" label.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use photos of another person without that person's permission, or photos of minors unless you are their parent or guardian;
- use the app or its outputs to harass, deceive, impersonate, defame or embarrass anyone;
- remove or obscure the demo label in order to present a preview as a real or AI-based prediction;
- use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of others' rights;
- copy, modify or reverse engineer the app, except as allowed by law.
5. Your content and responsibilities
You keep all rights to the photos you choose and the previews you create. Because processing happens on your device, we do not receive your content and claim no license to it. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for any photo you use and for anything you choose to share or save outside the app. Your content stays on your device until you delete it; see the Privacy Policy for details.
6. Intellectual property
The app, its design, code, illustrations, name and logo belong to EXO Studio or its licensors and are protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks.
7. Third-party services
Sharing and saving to Photos use Apple services, which are governed by Apple's own terms. FutureLens does not include third-party advertising or analytics services. We are not responsible for apps or services you choose to share content with.
8. Price
FutureLens is free. Every feature — the +10, +20 and +40 years previews, the story video and exports — is available to everyone, with no in-app purchases, subscriptions or advertising.
9. Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any preview will look a certain way. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer laws that cannot be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EXO Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for FutureLens in the 12 months before the claim. Because your content is stored only on your device, you are responsible for keeping copies of anything you want to keep.
11. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your license if you materially breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law) survive termination.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the date above, and continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms. Changes do not apply retroactively.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not deprive you of mandatory protections of the consumer laws of the country where you live.
