App: FutureLens (iOS) · Effective date: October 10, 2026 · Last updated: October 11, 2026

TL;DR: FutureLens works on the photo you choose directly on your iPhone. In the current version your photos are not uploaded to us or to anyone else. The app has no accounts and contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, tracking or attribution SDKs. Previews are a stylised demo look created on-device, not an AI prediction. Your photos and lenses stay in the app's private storage until you delete them.

1. Who we are

FutureLens is published by EXO Studio, Hanoi, Vietnam ("EXO Studio", "we", "us"). This policy explains how the FutureLens app for iPhone handles information.

2. Information we collect

We do not collect personal data on our servers. FutureLens has no sign-in, no user accounts and does not send your photos or app content to a backend. The table below lists what the app handles locally on your device.

DataWhere it staysWhy
The photo you pick with the system photo pickerOn your device, in FutureLens's private app storageTo frame the face and create your previews
Generated previews and story videosOn your device, in FutureLens's private app storageTo show your saved lenses and let you export them
Lens details (an internal ID, creation date, title, file names, preview engine name)On your device, in a local databaseTo organise your saved lenses
App preferences (onboarding completed, photo-processing consent with its date)On your device, in app settings storageTo remember your choices

The app does not use your camera, location, contacts or microphone, does not read your full photo library, and does not access the advertising identifier (IDFA).

3. How photo processing works

Before you choose a photo, FutureLens asks for your explicit consent to process it. You pick a single photo through Apple's photo picker, so the app only receives that photo, not your library.

The app processes your photo only to provide the feature you ask for, on the basis of your consent (which you can withdraw in Settings → Withdraw photo consent) and to perform our agreement with you under the Terms of Service. Because this processing happens on your device, EXO Studio does not receive the photo or the results.

5. Service providers

FutureLens does not include third-party advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or attribution SDKs. The app has no in-app purchases or subscriptions. The only external services it uses are Apple's:

6. Sharing and sale

We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising. Content leaves the app only when you choose to share or save it.

7. Retention and deletion

Photos, previews and videos stay on your device until you delete them. You can delete a single lens, or use Settings → Delete all photos and lenses to remove everything at once. Deleting the app also removes its local data. Items you previously saved to Photos or shared elsewhere are not affected and must be deleted there.

8. Security

Stored images use iOS complete file protection, so they are encrypted while your device is locked and protected by your device passcode. No security measure is perfect, so please keep your device passcode secure.

9. Device permissions

PermissionWhen it is requestedPurpose
Photo picker (no permission needed)When you tap to choose a photoGives the app only the photo you select
Photos — add onlyOnly when you tap Save on a preview or story videoSaves the export to your photo library; the app cannot read your library through this permission

You can change this permission at any time in iOS Settings.

10. Children

FutureLens is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. In the European Economic Area, users under 16 should use the app only with the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has used the app inappropriately, contact us and we will help.

11. Your rights (GDPR and CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. California residents have the right to know, delete and correct, and to opt out of sale or sharing, and will not be discriminated against for using these rights. Because your data stays on your device, you can exercise most of these rights directly in the app (delete lenses, delete all, withdraw consent). For any request or question, contact us at the address below.

12. International transfers

We do not transfer your photos or app content to our servers or to anyone else.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example if new features change how data is handled. We will update the date above and, for material changes such as cloud processing, ask for your consent again in the app.
