1. Who we are and what this Policy covers
Arrow Lane–Escape Puzzle Game (also called “Arrow Lane” or the “Game”) is a single-player arrow-clearing puzzle that runs inside the TikTok app as a TikTok Mini Game. It is developed, owned, and published by EXO TECHNOLOGIES GLOBAL LIMITED (“we”, “us”, or the “Company”). EXO Studio is a brand operated by the Company.
This Privacy Policy applies to the Arrow Lane TikTok Mini Game identified above. It does not govern the TikTok app, TikTok Mini Game platform, or advertisements delivered by the platform. Those services are operated by TikTok/ByteDance under their own terms and privacy policies.
2. Information handled by the game
Arrow Lane has no developer-operated player account, database, analytics SDK, attribution SDK, crash-reporting SDK, chat, leaderboard, multiplayer feature, or user-content upload. The Game does not send your name, email, phone number, TikTok profile, contacts, photos, precise location, advertising identifier, or gameplay history to EXO TECHNOLOGIES GLOBAL LIMITED.

3. Local storage
The Game saves only three categories of gameplay data through the TikTok Mini Game synchronous storage API: the highest unlocked level, the best star result for each played level, and the number of available hint credits. This data remains within the TikTok environment on your device or within storage managed by the platform. Our Game code does not upload it to a Company server.
You can remove local Game data using controls provided by TikTok or your device, or by removing the Mini Game/app data. The exact storage lifecycle may also be governed by TikTok's platform settings.
4. TikTok platform services
Arrow Lane calls the TikTok Mini Game login/runtime initialization API when it starts so the platform can initialize the Mini Game session. Our implementation does not read, keep, or transmit the returned login credential or TikTok account details. The platform also hosts and executes the Game, provides local storage and device APIs, and may generate platform-level operational or analytics data independently of our code.
TikTok/ByteDance may process device, account, network, usage, and advertising information as operator of the host app and Mini Game platform. We do not control that processing. Please review the TikTok Privacy Policy and the privacy controls in your TikTok app.
5. Advertising
Version 7 of Arrow Lane uses advertising supplied by the TikTok Mini Game platform:
- Rewarded video ads: shown only when you choose to request a hint after using available hint credits, or choose to revive after losing all hearts. A reward is granted only after the platform reports that the video was completed.
- Interstitial ads: may appear after completing a level and before the next level. In the current version, the Game requests an interstitial after every other completed level, beginning after level 1. If an interstitial fails, progression continues.
TikTok/ByteDance, rather than EXO TECHNOLOGIES GLOBAL LIMITED, selects, delivers, and measures these ads. The platform may process device and advertising information for these purposes under its own privacy policy and consent controls. Our Game receives only ad lifecycle callbacks needed to display the ad, determine whether a rewarded video was completed, and continue gameplay.
6. Optional platform missions
After a win, Arrow Lane may offer buttons to add a TikTok shortcut or start a TikTok profile-entry mission. These actions occur only after you tap the relevant button and are handled by TikTok platform APIs. We receive only a success or failure callback used to show an on-screen message; we do not receive your profile information.
7. Device features and permissions
The Game does not request access to your camera, photo library, microphone, location, contacts, calendar, health data, or clipboard. It uses screen information to lay out the puzzle, touch input to operate the Game, audio output to play simple synthesized sound effects, and optional short haptic vibration for gameplay feedback. These features do not send information to us.
8. Sharing, sale, and retention
We do not sell, rent, or share personal information collected through Arrow Lane because our Game code does not collect personal information. We do not retain a player database. Local progress remains subject to the local/platform storage lifecycle described above, while in-memory gameplay and diagnostic information is discarded when the Game process ends.
If you email us, we receive the address and content you voluntarily send. We use it only to respond, investigate the issue, protect the Game, or meet legal obligations, and retain it only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes.
9. Children's privacy
Arrow Lane is a general-audience puzzle game and contains no chat, public profile, user-generated content, or social messaging. Our Game code does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Age eligibility for TikTok and the handling of advertising for younger users are controlled by TikTok under its own policies. If you believe a child has sent personal information directly to us by email, contact us and we will investigate and delete it where required.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Because we do not maintain a player database for Arrow Lane, we ordinarily have no player record to retrieve or delete. You may contact us for confirmation. For information processed by TikTok/ByteDance, exercise your rights through TikTok's published privacy channels and in-app controls.
11. International processing
EXO TECHNOLOGIES GLOBAL LIMITED is registered in Hong Kong. Arrow Lane does not transmit player data to servers controlled by the Company. Any processing or international transfer performed by the TikTok app, Mini Game platform, or advertising systems is governed by TikTok/ByteDance's policies and safeguards. A support email you voluntarily send may be processed by our email provider outside your country.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy when the Game, its advertising, its platform APIs, or legal requirements change. The current version will remain at this URL with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes will be described clearly before or when they take effect where required.
