In short
By using English AI: Speak & Learn you agree to these terms. The app helps you learn English with an AI tutor, vocabulary, flashcards and grammar lessons. Use it lawfully and for your own learning. AI output can be imperfect, so do not rely on it as professional advice. The app is free to use and supported by ads.
1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form an agreement between you and EXO Studio ("we", "us"), the publisher of the English AI: Speak & Learn Android application ("the app"). By downloading, accessing or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. License to use the app
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial language learning. You must comply with the Google Play terms that also apply to your use.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful, harmful, abusive or fraudulent purpose.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or keys, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
- Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the app, our backend, or the ad and analytics services it relies on.
- Submit content that is illegal, infringing, or that you do not have the right to submit.
- Attempt to bypass ads, rate limits, or security controls.
4. Your content and responsibilities
The messages, topics and answers you enter ("your content") remain yours. You are responsible for what you submit and for keeping any sensitive personal information out of your messages. You grant us a limited right to process your content solely to operate the app and generate responses, as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. AI-generated content
The tutor's replies, corrections, translations and lessons are generated by automated AI systems and may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for a given purpose. They are provided for language-learning practice only and are not professional, educational, legal, medical or other expert advice. Verify important information independently.
6. Intellectual property
The app, its design, text, graphics, and software are owned by EXO Studio or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the license granted above, no rights are transferred to you. Third-party marks belong to their respective owners.
7. Third-party services and ads
The app displays advertising through Google AdMob and uses third-party analytics and attribution services. Your interactions with advertisers and third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party content, products or practices.
8. Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will meet your expectations.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EXO Studio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Because the app is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for it (if any) or USD 10.
10. Termination
You may stop using the app and uninstall it at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the app. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict of law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence are not affected.
