Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
EXO Studio, Hanoi, Vietnam, publishes Reverse Singing: Reverse Audio (the “App”). This policy explains how information is handled when you use the App and its third-party services. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to exostudio.feedback@gmail.com.
2. Information we process
| Category | Examples and source | Typical handling |
|---|---|---|
| Audio and recordings | Microphone recordings and audio files you select from device storage. | Processed and saved locally on your device. We do not upload these files to an EXO Studio server. If you export or share a file, the destination you choose processes it under its own terms. |
| Device or other identifiers | Advertising ID, app-instance identifiers, and SDK-generated identifiers. | May be collected or shared by advertising, analytics, diagnostics, and attribution providers. |
| App activity | App launches, screen views, feature interactions, ad events, consent choices, and purchase-related events. | May be collected for analytics, service configuration, attribution, fraud prevention, and advertising. |
| App information and performance | Crash logs, diagnostics, app version, device model, operating-system version, timestamps, and network state. | May be collected to maintain, secure, and improve the App. |
| Approximate location | A broad location inferred from an IP address or similar network information; the App does not request precise GPS location. | May be processed by advertising, analytics, or security providers for regional delivery, reporting, and fraud prevention. |
| Purchase information | Product, entitlement, and transaction status returned by Google Play Billing. | Processed by Google Play and used to provide purchased features. We do not receive your full payment-card details. |
| Communications | Your email address and the content you send when contacting support. | Collected only when you choose to contact us and used to answer your request. |
The App does not provide an EXO Studio account or login. We do not ask you to upload user-generated content to an EXO Studio service.
3. How processing works
On-device audio processing
The App uses microphone and media-library access to record, select, reverse, transform, play, and save audio. These audio operations occur on the device. Saved recordings remain under your device and operating-system controls until you delete, export, or share them.
Network-based SDK processing
Advertising and software-development kits communicate with their providers over the internet. Depending on your region, consent choices, device settings, and provider configuration, those providers may receive the data categories listed above. We do not convert a missing or denied consent into permission for personalized advertising.
4. Purposes and legal bases
- Provide the App: operate audio features, remember settings, restore purchases, and deliver requested functionality.
- Advertising and marketing: request, display, measure, cap, and report ads, including contextual or personalized ads where legally permitted.
- Analytics and improvement: understand feature usage, app stability, and aggregate performance.
- Security, fraud prevention, and compliance: detect invalid traffic, protect services, honor consent, and meet legal obligations.
- Support: respond to communications you initiate.
Depending on applicable law, we rely on performing the service you request, your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the App, and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent through the privacy or consent controls made available in the App or device settings; withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.
5. Service providers
The released Android build includes or integrates the following provider categories. A provider may act as an independent controller or our service provider under its own privacy terms.
| Provider or SDK | Role | Possible data categories |
|---|---|---|
| Google Play services, Google Mobile Ads (AdMob), and Google Play Billing | Platform services, advertising, mediation, consent, and purchases. | Identifiers, approximate location, app activity, diagnostics, ad interactions, and purchase status. |
| Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, and Cloud Messaging | Analytics, crash reporting, remote configuration, and notification delivery. | App interactions, app-instance identifiers, crash logs, diagnostics, and messaging tokens where enabled. |
| Meta Audience Network and Facebook SDK | Advertising, mediation, measurement, and attribution. | Identifiers, approximate location, app activity, ad interactions, and diagnostics. |
| AppMetrica, Adjust, and TikTok Business SDK | Analytics, measurement, and attribution where configured. | Identifiers, app interactions, approximate location, device/app information, and attribution events. |
| AppLovin, Liftoff Monetize/Vungle, Chartboost, InMobi, ironSource, Unity Ads, Mintegral, Pangle, and AdColony mediation components | Advertising demand, mediation, measurement, and fraud prevention. | Identifiers, approximate location, app and ad interactions, device information, and diagnostics. |
Provider availability can vary by country, consent state, ad request, and live mediation configuration. Including a component in the App does not mean that every provider receives data on every use.
6. Sharing, sale, and advertising choices
We do not sell your audio recordings or contact information. We share limited information with providers when necessary for the purposes above, when you direct us to share content, or when required by law. Some privacy laws may classify personalized-advertising disclosures as “sharing” or “targeted advertising” even when no money is exchanged for your personal information.
Where required, the App presents a consent message before eligible personalized advertising. You can also reset or delete the Advertising ID, limit ad personalization, manage app permissions, or clear the App’s data through Android settings. If the App offers a privacy-options entry point in your region, you may use it to revisit consent choices.
7. Retention
Local recordings remain on your device until you delete them or remove them through device storage controls. App preferences normally remain until you clear App data or uninstall the App. Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably needed to resolve the request, maintain records, and meet legal obligations. Third-party providers set their own retention periods; their policies and your consent or device controls may offer additional deletion options.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and the App’s operation. Network SDK traffic is intended to use encrypted transport. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security for a device, network, operating system, or third-party provider outside our control.
9. Device permissions
- Microphone: records audio when you start a recording.
- Audio/media storage: lets you select, save, and manage audio files. Permission behavior varies by Android version.
- Notifications: allows notifications when you grant permission on supported Android versions.
- Internet and network state: supports ads, analytics, remote configuration, consent, diagnostics, and online platform services.
- Advertising ID: supports advertising, measurement, analytics, and fraud prevention where available.
You can deny or revoke optional permissions in Android settings. Some corresponding features may then be unavailable, but denying a permission does not authorize another data source.
10. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action. Age thresholds and parental rights may differ by country.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing; withdraw consent; receive portable data; opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising; and appeal certain decisions. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights.
Because we do not provide user accounts and much of the relevant data is held locally or under provider-specific identifiers, we may need information that reasonably verifies and locates a request. You can delete local recordings and App data directly on your device. For SDK data, device settings and the provider’s privacy controls may be the most direct options. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
12. International transfers
EXO Studio is based in Vietnam, and service providers may process information in other countries. Where required, providers use recognized transfer mechanisms and safeguards. Privacy protections may differ from those in your country.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the App, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date. Material changes may also be communicated in the App or through the store listing when appropriate.
