Privacy Policy
- You choose the prompts, photos, face photos, and driving videos used for a generation request.
- We do not perform identity recognition, create biometric templates, sell face data, or use your content for advertising or profiling.
- EXO Image AI deletes Text Generate prompts and Image Generate source images immediately after processing finishes.
- Face Dance inputs and the server copy of its result are deleted within 24 hours.
- Generated results are downloaded to your device. Advertising and diagnostic partners may process limited device, ad-interaction, and crash data.
1. Who we are
ReelU — AI Video Generator ("ReelU", "the app", "we", "us", or "our") is an iOS application published by EXO Studio, based in Hanoi, Vietnam. ReelU lets users create and edit videos using text prompts, selected photos, optional face-animation features, templates, and local editing tools.
This Privacy Policy explains what information ReelU handles, why it is used, who processes it, where it is processed, how long it is kept, and the choices available to you. If you do not agree with this policy, do not submit content for AI processing.
2. Information we handle
Content you intentionally provide
- Text prompts and optional negative prompts;
- Photos you select for Image Generate, templates, or other image-based features;
- A source photo that may contain a face and a driving video when you choose Face Dance;
- Generation settings such as duration, aspect ratio, effect, and optional seed;
- Videos and audio you choose for local editing, and generated results saved in the app's local library.
ReelU does not send your name, email, contacts, precise location, or entire photo library as part of an AI generation request. Photo-library access is limited by the permission you grant and the items you choose.
Technical, advertising, and purchase information
The app and the providers described below may process device model, operating-system and app version, language, crash and performance diagnostics, remote-configuration state, advertising identifiers when permitted, ad impressions and interactions, attribution signals, and subscription or purchase-entitlement status. Apple processes payments; ReelU does not receive your full payment-card information.
3. Face Data and AI Video Processing
Face data we process. ReelU processes only content that the user intentionally selects for a requested feature. For Face Dance, this consists of a selected source photo that may contain a face and a selected driving video. The Face Dance renderer detects transient facial features and motion landmarks needed to animate the selected face. ReelU does not create or store a biometric template, identify a person, verify identity, or compare a face against other people or databases. A photo selected for Image Generate may also contain a face, but ReelU does not perform identity recognition on it.
Purpose. This data is used only to generate the video requested by the user. ReelU does not use face data for advertising, profiling, analytics, identity recognition, or training ReelU models.
Service providers. Face Dance content is processed by ReelU's rendering service hosted by Modal Labs, Inc. Text and Image Generate requests are processed by EXO Image AI, EXO's self-hosted LTX-Video service running on Modal Labs, Inc. infrastructure. These services receive only the content and settings needed for the generation request. ReelU does not sell face data or share it with data brokers, advertisers, or analytics providers.
Storage location and security. Selected content is transmitted over HTTPS for remote processing. EXO Image AI and the ReelU Face Dance service run in Modal-hosted environments. Text and Image Generate is processed by EXO Image AI using LTX-Video. A downloaded result and its library record are stored locally in the ReelU app on the user's device.
Retention and deletion. EXO Image AI deletes Text Generate prompts and Image Generate source images immediately after processing finishes. A job-status record that does not contain the prompt or source image is retained for up to 7 days, and the generated MP4 remains available for approximately 30 days so ReelU can download the result. Face Dance source photos, driving videos, and the server copy of the generated result are automatically deleted within 24 hours whether a job succeeds, fails, is canceled, or expires. Transient facial features and motion landmarks exist only during processing and are not stored as a separate record. Local results remain until the user removes the local file or uninstalls ReelU. A user may revoke future AI processing consent in Profile > Privacy & Data Use and may request privacy assistance or deletion at exostudio24@gmail.com.
4. Advertising and diagnostics
ReelU is supported by advertising and uses diagnostics and remote configuration to operate reliably. Depending on your region, consent choices, and iOS settings, advertising and diagnostic providers may process:
- The Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) only when you allow tracking, plus Apple's SKAdNetwork or AdAttributionKit attribution signals;
- Ad impressions, views, taps, rewarded-ad completion, campaign attribution, and fraud-prevention signals;
- Approximate location derived from IP address; ReelU does not provide precise GPS location for advertising;
- Device model, OS version, app version, language, crash logs, diagnostics, and performance information.
AI inputs—including photos, face photos, driving videos, prompts, and generated content—are not sent to advertising, analytics, or attribution providers for ad targeting or profiling.

Providers process information under their applicable terms and privacy policies. The AI-content limits and retention periods stated in Section 3 govern ReelU's configured AI workflow.
7. Data sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information or face data. We share information only as required to provide a feature you request, operate diagnostics and advertising as disclosed, process purchases through Apple, prevent fraud or security abuse, comply with valid legal obligations, or protect users and the service.
Advertising and diagnostic providers do not receive your AI prompts, selected photos, face photos, driving videos, or generated videos from ReelU for advertising or profiling.
8. Retention and deletion
- Text Generate prompts and Image Generate source images: deleted by EXO Image AI immediately after processing finishes.
- EXO Image AI job-status record without the prompt or source image: retained for up to 7 days.
- EXO Image AI generated MP4: available for approximately 30 days so ReelU can download it.
- Face Dance source photos, driving videos, and server result: deleted within 24 hours for successful, failed, canceled, or expired jobs.
- Transient facial features and motion landmarks: used only during processing and not stored as a separate record.
- Downloaded results and local library records: remain on your device until you delete the local file or uninstall ReelU.
- Advertising and diagnostic data: retained by the relevant provider under its own privacy policy and legal obligations.
- Support correspondence: retained only as long as needed to respond and meet applicable legal requirements.

9. Data security
Content sent for AI processing is transmitted over HTTPS. We limit processing to the content and settings required for the selected feature, use authenticated service requests, avoid embedding the EXO Image AI credential in local source defaults, and download completed results promptly to the app's private local storage. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, but we and our providers use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information involved.

Declining a content permission prevents only the feature that needs it. Declining tracking does not block ReelU's core features; ads may be less personalized.
11. Children's privacy
ReelU is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in the user's jurisdiction, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child submitted information to ReelU, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
12. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing; receive a portable copy of eligible data; withdraw consent; opt out of certain advertising-related sharing; and lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority.
Because ReelU does not require an account and AI inputs are deleted on the schedules above, we may hold little information that can be linked back to you. You can delete local results in the app, uninstall ReelU to remove its local container, revoke permissions in iOS Settings, disable tracking in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, and revoke future AI consent in Profile > Privacy & Data Use.

13. International transfers
EXO Studio is based in Vietnam and its service providers operate internationally. Information may therefore be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, transfers are handled using safeguards recognized by applicable law and the providers' contractual protections.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when ReelU's features, providers, or legal obligations change. We will revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes to AI-content processing, require renewed in-app consent before a new generation request is transmitted.
