1. Who we are
gps geotag is a mobile application published by EXO Studio, based in Hanoi, Vietnam. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app and contact us.
For applicable privacy laws, EXO Studio is the controller of personal information that we receive and determine how to use. Information processed locally on your device solely at your direction may remain under your control and may not be received by us.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
The app does not require an account or login. Depending on the features you choose, you may provide photos, text, location-related inputs, or other content. This content is used only to produce the result you request, such as adding geotag information to a photo.
If you contact us, we may receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any information or attachments you choose to send.
Information available from your device
With your permission, the app may access your device location, camera, or photo library. Access is limited to supporting the feature you request. You can deny or revoke permissions at any time in your device settings, although some features may then be unavailable.
Technical information
The app does not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. We do not intentionally create behavioral profiles or track your activity across other companies' apps or websites. The app store, operating-system provider, or network infrastructure may independently process limited technical information under their own terms and privacy policies.
3. How data is processed
Photos, location data, and other inputs are processed only as needed to perform the action you select. Where technically possible, this processing occurs locally on your device. We do not use your content for advertising, analytics, profiling, model training, or unrelated purposes.
A result that you save or export may contain location metadata or visible geotag information. Once you share that result with another person, app, platform, or service, its handling is governed by the recipient's practices. Review exported content before sharing it, particularly if it reveals a home, workplace, school, or other sensitive location.

5. Service providers
We may use a limited number of service providers to support essential business functions, such as email communication, infrastructure, app distribution, or legal compliance. We do not authorize them to use personal information for advertising or their own unrelated purposes. They may process information only under appropriate instructions and confidentiality or data-protection obligations.
We do not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs in gps geotag. Providers involved in distributing the app, processing app-store transactions, or operating your device act under their own privacy policies where they determine the purposes of processing.
6. Data sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not track users across other apps or websites.
We may disclose limited information only:
- to service providers supporting the purposes described above;
- when you direct or authorize the disclosure, such as by exporting or sharing a photo;
- when reasonably necessary to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or a valid governmental request;
- to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, EXO Studio, or others; or
- as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or transfer of the app, subject to appropriate safeguards and notice where required.
7. Data retention
Content processed locally remains on your device or in the destination you select until you delete it, subject to your device, backup, and cloud-sync settings. EXO Studio does not retain user photos or inputs merely to provide local app functionality.
If we receive information through a support request or another direct interaction, we retain it only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect security, or meet legal obligations. We then delete or anonymize it where reasonably practicable.
Deleting the app does not necessarily delete photos or exported results already saved elsewhere on your device, in a backup, or with a third-party service.
8. Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the information we handle. These measures are intended to protect information against accidental loss and unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
No device, storage system, or method of transmission is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and for considering the sensitivity of location information before saving or sharing geotagged content.

The app requests a permission only when relevant to a feature. Denying a permission does not prevent use of unrelated features, but the feature requiring that permission may not function.
10. Children's privacy
gps geotag is not directed to children under 13, or under the higher minimum age required by applicable local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through accounts, advertising, or analytics.
If you believe a child has sent personal information directly to EXO Studio, please contact us. We will investigate and delete the information when required. Parents and guardians should supervise children's use of location features and review geotagged content before it is shared.
11. Your rights (GDPR & CCPA)
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information we hold about you. You may also have the right to restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, request data portability, and lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection authority.
Residents covered by the California Consumer Privacy Act may have rights to know, correct, and delete personal information, and to receive equal service without unlawful discrimination for exercising privacy rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is no need to opt out of such practices.
Because the app requires no account and most app content is processed locally, we may hold no app-use data that can be linked to you. To exercise a right concerning information you sent directly to us, email the address in the Contact section and describe your request. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and authority. You may use an authorized agent where permitted by law.
Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already lawfully completed. You can withdraw device permission consent through your device settings.
12. International transfers
EXO Studio is based in Vietnam. If you contact us or if limited information is processed by a service provider in another country, your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions whose privacy laws differ from those where you live.
Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections or another legally recognized transfer mechanism. You may contact us for more information about safeguards relevant to your information.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the app, our practices, or applicable law. We will revise the “Last updated” date when changes are made. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice where reasonably available or legally required. Your continued use of the app after an update is subject to the revised policy, to the extent permitted by law.
