Summary
Emoji Battery: Charging Show is an Android app that shows a customizable battery/status overlay with emoji, backgrounds, and accessibility tools. Nearly everything runs on your device: your settings, chosen emoji, and any background image you pick stay in the app's private storage and are never uploaded by us.
The exceptions are advertising, analytics, crash reporting and attribution. The app displays ads through Google AdMob and a set of mediation networks, and it includes Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Remote Config, Firebase Cloud Messaging, AppMetrica, Adjust and the Meta SDK. Together these collect your device's Advertising ID, app and device identifiers, usage and crash diagnostics. We do not require an account, and we do not sell your personal information. Where consent is required, ads are only requested after you agree.
1. Who We Are
Emoji Battery: Charging Show ("the app", "we", "us") is developed and published by EXO Studio, based in Hanoi, Vietnam. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app processes, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the Android version of the app distributed through Google Play.
2. Information We Collect
The app is designed to keep your personalization data on your device. We group what the app handles into two categories.

We do not collect names, email addresses, contacts, location, photos library contents, messages, or account credentials. The app has no login and no user accounts.
Collected for advertising
To show ads, the app uses Google AdMob together with the mediation networks listed below, which collect your device's Advertising ID and standard ad-request information (such as approximate coarse signals, device and app identifiers, and ad interaction events). This information is transmitted to Google over the Internet. See Advertising and the Advertising ID for details.
3. How We Use Information
- To provide and personalize the battery/status overlay, emoji, backgrounds, and accessibility features (magnifier, screen filter, assistive touch).
- To remember your preferences between launches and after your device restarts.
- To display, cap, and measure advertising through Google AdMob.
- To keep the app functioning correctly on your device.
We do not use your on-device personalization data for profiling or to build a marketing profile.
4. Purposes and Legal Bases
Where the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Performance of the service and our legitimate interests in providing a working, personalized overlay for on-device settings processing.
- Consent for personalized advertising and use of the Advertising ID, where consent is required. Where applicable, Google AdMob presents or supports a consent mechanism, and you can reset or limit ad personalization through your device settings.
5. Advertising and the Advertising ID
The app displays advertising served by Google AdMob. AdMob is provided by Google and acts as our advertising partner. To serve and measure ads, AdMob collects and processes:
- your device Advertising ID (a resettable identifier managed by Google Play services);
- device and app information (for example, device type, operating system, app version, coarse/derived signals) and ad interaction events;
- data needed to limit repeated ads, detect invalid activity, and measure ad performance.
This data is shared with Google and processed under Google's privacy terms. You can review Google's practices in the Google Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy and how Google uses information from partner apps at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization at any time in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads (menu names vary by device).
6. Service Providers
We rely on the following third party to operate advertising:

In addition to advertising, the app includes analytics, crash-reporting, attribution and messaging SDKs. These are listed in the table above. Ad-serving SDKs (AdMob and the mediation networks) only request ads after you have been asked for consent where consent is required, and they are blocked entirely if consent is refused or cannot be established.
7. Sharing and Sale of Data
We share data only as described above: advertising data is shared with Google and the mediation networks to deliver ads, and diagnostic, analytics and attribution data is shared with the providers listed in the table. We do not sell your personal information for money. Depending on your jurisdiction, the sharing of the Advertising ID for personalized advertising may be treated as a "sale" or "sharing" under laws such as the CCPA; see Your Privacy Rights for how to opt out. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
8. Data Retention
Your settings and any background image reference remain on your device until you change them, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app. Live battery and Wi-Fi readings are not retained. Advertising data collected by Google is retained according to Google's own retention policies.
9. Security
On-device settings are stored in the app's private storage, which is sandboxed from other apps by the Android operating system. No system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, but we design the app to minimize the data it handles and to keep personalization data on your device.
10. Device Permissions
The app requests only the permissions needed for its features:

11. Children's Privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app serves advertising via AdMob, it is intended for a general audience of appropriate age. If you believe a child has used the app in a way that raises a concern, contact us and we will address it.
12. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing or withdraw consent.
- On-device data: you control it directly — change your settings, remove a chosen background, or clear the app's data/uninstall to delete it.
- Advertising: reset your Advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization in your Android settings, and use any consent controls presented by AdMob.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know, delete, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You can exercise the opt-out through your device's ad settings and any in-app consent prompt.

13. International Data Transfers
We are based in Vietnam. Advertising data handled by Google may be processed on servers located in other countries, including the United States. Where required, Google implements safeguards such as standard contractual clauses for such transfers. By using the app, you understand that advertising data may be processed outside your country of residence.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the app or in legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be made available through the app listing or this page. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
