Craftly: DIY Wallpaper for iPhone · Effective and last updated: September 27, 2026

TL;DR: Your photos and designs are processed and stored on your device and never uploaded. Google Firebase and AdMob collect limited device, usage, and crash data to improve the app and show ads; tracking only happens if you allow it. We do not sell personal information.

1. Who we are

Craftly: DIY Wallpaper ("Craftly", "the app") is published by EXO Studio, Hanoi, Vietnam ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app handles on iPhone and why. Contact: exostudio.feedback@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

Your photos and designs stay on your device. Craftly has no account or sign-in and does not upload your photos, designs, text, or exported wallpapers to our servers.

The app uses third-party SDKs that collect limited technical information automatically:

3. How your information is processed

On-device only: photos you pick through the iOS photo picker, templates, stickers, text, drafts, favorites, and exported wallpapers are processed and stored locally in the app. Saving a wallpaper writes the image to your Photos library only when you tap save and grant permission.

Sent to service providers: the technical data in the table above is sent to Google (Firebase and Google Mobile Ads) to measure usage, fix crashes, configure features remotely, and show ads. Purchases are processed by Apple.

6. Ads, consent, and tracking

Free users may see ads (app open, interstitial, rewarded, and native ads). Where required (for example in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), we show a consent form from Google's User Messaging Platform before ads are requested. Afterwards, iOS may ask whether Craftly may track you across other companies' apps and websites (App Tracking Transparency). If you decline, the IDFA is not shared and ads may be less relevant. You can change these choices at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and through the privacy options in the app where available.

Premium subscribers and lifetime owners do not see ads.

7. Sharing and sale

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share your photos or designs. Technical data is shared only with the providers listed above for the stated purposes, or when required by law.

8. Retention

Your designs and drafts remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app. Firebase Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months; crash reports are retained for up to 90 days; ad providers retain data according to their own policies.

9. Security

Local data is stored in the app's sandbox and protected by iOS. Data sent to providers is transmitted over encrypted connections. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

10. Device permissions

11. Children

Craftly is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will help remove it.

12. Your rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, object to processing, withdraw consent, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. California residents may opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; we do not sell it. Because we do not operate accounts, most data can be removed by deleting the app. For requests, email exostudio.feedback@gmail.com.

13. International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States. They rely on safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will change the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
